The Makelani Family

Hi people of the internet! How are you? I hope you're all feel better than ever! Well, I'm here to day to show you my first ever art post. Isn't it exciting?
This is half of my last project for college for the Digital Drawing class. Basically, I came up with an idea to create a story that I'm going to tell you right way, so I could also create the characters, not only draw them, on Photoshop, but also turn them into objects on Zbrush, which I'll maybe show in my next post.

To sum up the story, it's about a family called the Makelani Family who come from Egypt but live in Russia in a small town. They're quite a rich family but always humble apart from one character. From left to right, there's Mosi, the wife and mother; next, there's that not so humble character named Cassiel, the uncle and brother: after him, there's Kaden, a brave young man, Mosi and Radley's son; and finally, here comes my last character, Radley, the husband and father, but also Cassiel's brother. Basically, Mosi and Radley had a 11 year old daughter, Nyra, who got caught in fire caused by her uncle Cassiel out of envy in a small village his brother was building for homeless people. Obviously, Cassiel didn't mean to kill Nyra but still, what he did is completely wrong, so the rest of the family are looking for him since he ran away and that's basically the story, as it has an open ending.
I tried to capture the anger and frustration in their faces and poses as well as Cassiel coward character.
Oh, I forgot to mention this happens around the XVIII century, that's why they're using quite traditional russian clothes.

Let me know what you think of the plot and the whole story in general as well as the character. Do you like them?
Well, feel free to give me your feedback and stay tuned because a lot of more artwork are coming!
