Today I'm getting back to digital drawings and what I'm going to show you is project I did for my Illustration class, last semester. It was given to us a text for us to illustrate as we liked and then we also had to design all the pages and then print the book.

The text is called "Pie", which is "Empada" in portuguese, and it's about a messed up guy who is divorced to his ex-wife, but still very obsessed with her, so basically all he does is messing things up and the story can be interpreted in a very dramatic way but also in a kind of funny way. I went for black and white illustrations and I created quite realist characters. I also tried to illustrate it in the more dramatic side and I'm pretty pleased with the results!

This is the front cover. I printed the book with 25x18,5 cm, horizontally.

Overall, there are 8 illustrations plus the cover.
